The information should significantly enhance knowledge and understanding of the disease or pathogen. Manuscripts that focus on wild or pet birds should describe a disease or the presence of pathogens in an appropriate number of birds. There should be a serious potential impact on the respective species, or the disease or pathogen should be of demonstrable relevance to poultry.
